Gong Immersion

Are you looking to heal, relax, and restore? Therapeutic gong sounds may be just what your body is looking for. Gong Immersion is a unique type of sound practice that uses therapeutic gong sounds and vibration to aid the body in the processes of healing, relaxation, and restoration. Once you are all comfortable with your pillows and blankets, a facilitator then hits the gong, a disc-shaped percussion instrument, using a mallet while you passively soak up the benefits of the sound.

What Should I Wear?

Wear loose, comfortable clothing and - as you will be lying still for thirty minutes to an hour in a sleep-like trance – something warm. Yoga casuals, cashmere pashminas or sweat pants and baggy t-shirt: it's up to you. Dress however you are most comfortable resting and relaxing.

Why Gong Therapy?

 Gong baths are highly rejuvenating for the body and bring about an overall sense of relaxation. This can help to reduce stress as well as help develop a better ability to cope with stress. Gong baths also help remove emotional blockages from trauma and even stimulate altered states of consciousness.
